At Acqua, we specialize in addiction and mental health treatment, from residential care to sober living and beyond.
Depending on where you are in your recovery journey, you may require round-the-clock care, daily visits to our center for structured programming, or simply a safe, comfortable place to live with other people in recovery. Our admissions team will work with you to determine which level of care is right for you. At the end of your treatment, you’ll enter our Aftercare program, which ensures that the progress you made in treatment is translated into your day-to-day life.

Dr. Pickrell is a board-certified psychiatrist with interests in addiction and psychiatry. He strives to identify the underlying cause of substance use. His understanding of addiction as the overlapping symptoms of biopsychosocial development is the foundation to his care model. He is committed to helping both patients and families understand that addiction is a treatable medical illness. He has been involved in the treatment of addiction for the last 17 years and completed his residency training at the University of Utah.
